Property Brochures
PDF vs Digital Property Brochures
When a PDF is the right property brochure, when a web page helps, and why you often need both for different jobs.
Should I use a PDF or a digital property brochure?
Use a PDF when you need a file someone can email, print or attach to a report without a login. Use a digital page when you need video, a 360 tour or content that will change after you send it. Many properties benefit from both.
- PDF is the keepable format.
- A webpage is better for media that will not fit in an email.
- A QR code on a PDF can point to a tour without replacing the PDF.
“Digital brochure” is often used to mean a web page that looks like a magazine. That can be useful. It does not make a PDF obsolete.
What a PDF is for
Forwarding. Printing. Attaching to a vendor report. Showing a parent who will not create an account. Surviving after a campaign microsite is taken down.
What a digital page is for
Video, 360 tours, changing availability, and measuring clicks. ReHub tools such as Showcase or 360Tours sit in that world. They are optional extras, not a requirement for a BrochurePDF file.
A simple rule
Create the PDF first. If you also have a tour or a film, put a link or QR on the last page. Do not send someone a URL when they asked for particulars.

Frequently asked questions
Are PDF brochures outdated?
No. Solicitors, overseas buyers and vendors still ask for a file they can keep. Outdated PDFs are the problem — update the price when the listing changes.
